PRF Treatment

Natural Healing Promotion Through Autologous Blood

Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a procedure to support natural wound healing – without additives, based exclusively on the patient’s own blood. The growth factors (natural protein molecules) obtained from PRF promote tissue regeneration and wound healing after surgical procedures and can reduce complications such as infections or swelling.

PRF: Targeted Use of Natural Healing Potential

To produce platelet-rich fibrin, a small amount of blood is taken from the patient and centrifuged using a special process. The resulting fibrin-rich plasma contains a high concentration of platelets, leukocytes, and growth factors. The PRF is then applied directly to the treated area in the form of membranes or gel. There, it acts like a biological bandage, supports the formation of new tissue, and can specifically promote implant healing, the integration of grafts, or bone and soft tissue regeneration.

At IMPLA·VIO in Berlin-Friedenau, we offer PRF as an additional service to support healing after oral surgical procedures such as tooth extraction, implant placement, or periodontal surgery. The application is particularly gentle, well-tolerated, and can noticeably improve the healing process.
